To be passionate about your career, your family, your pet, politics, whatever it is, is a gift. That's how I feel about my business and the LuLuwrap. I really love what I do. I love creating and designing the prints for the LuLuwrap and watching the germ of an idea blossom into a beautiful design. I enjoy shopping for the buttons from choosing just the right button from a giant wall loaded with boxes and boxes to scouring swap meets for really unusual or vintage finds. I love mixing and matching the colors of the loops with the buttons to see how it makes the whole piece pop. I love the process of photographing and styling the pictures and working with models and my friend, Steve who is our brilliant creative director.
I realized that the culmination of all this work comes when I am showing the LuLuwrap to women of all shapes, sizes and ages. It's a very special moment when I put the LuLuwrap on a woman and show her how to style it and suddenly she gets it. She starts flowing with the material in front of the mirror and you can see it in her eyes, the realization of her beauty and sensuality - enhanced by this wonderful piece of fabric. I see it over and over again and it fills me with joy, every time.
